Exploring Acid Rain is based on HBRF’s Acid Rain Revisited, a Science Links report that synthesizes major research findings on acid rain at the Hubbard Brook Experimental Forest. This guide is designed to help secondary educators teach complex ecological concepts through classroom activities and outdoor fieldwork. Exploring Acid Rain is produced by the Hubbard Brook Research Foundation through its Environmental Literacy Program, in partnership with the USDA Forest Service/Northern Research Station.
